Today at OT, this kid said “Mom” for the first time.

Therapy hasn’t been going so smoothly as of late. We had our honeymoon phase but that is LONG gone. After today, however, I see that every therapy session, every homework assignment, every effort we give counts. Liam is listening. Processing. Learning.

And today in occupational therapy, his sensory input aligned and he was able to say “Mom”. It’s working: the prayer, the therapy, the love, the support. I couldn’t ask for a more precious Christmas gift.

Liam, you are so tenacious. You are working so hard. We see your frustration. We believe in you. We love you and are so proud of you.

xoxo-Mommy, Daddy & Molly
